1. Personal Data Protection: In compliance with current data protection legislation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 and related implementing regulations), UMANA INNOVA, S.L. (hereinafter, UMANA) informs you that any personal data and information you provide by completing electronic forms on this website will be incorporated into its personal data processing records.

We also inform you that UMANA INNOVA, S.L. has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted at: dpo@umana.es. The purpose of processing the requested personal data is to handle your request for information and/or the provision of services. The questions included in the forms are voluntary, except for those marked with an asterisk (*), which are mandatory. Failure to provide such information may result in UMANA refusing to process incomplete requests or those containing inaccurate data. Users must provide truthful and accurate data, which will be kept up to date by the data controller, who will take all reasonable steps to rectify or delete inaccurate data without delay.

Personal data provided by the user during their relationship with the data controller will be adequate, relevant, and limited to the original purposes. The controller guarantees that data will not be further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes. Appropriate technical and organizational measures have been implemented to ensure the security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

3. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties: Personal data provided by the user will not be disclosed or transferred to third parties outside UMANA, except where required by law or where necessary for contractual purposes involving service providers essential for delivering services. In such cases, appropriate confidentiality and data processing agreements will be in place to ensure data protection. Data may also be shared upon the user’s explicit request.

4. Consent for Commercial Communications: In accordance with Article 21 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, if UMANA intends to send commercial communications by any means, it will request the user’s prior explicit consent.

5. User Rights: Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, data portability, restriction of processing, and data accuracy. UMANA will retain personal data while the relationship exists and, after its termination, for the legally required retention periods. During this time, data will be processed solely to demonstrate compliance with legal and contractual obligations. Once these periods have expired, the data will be deleted or anonymized.

Users may also withdraw their consent at any time, without retroactive effect. In case of disputes regarding the exercise of data protection rights, users may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). Requests may also be submitted using forms available at UMANA’s facilities.

6. Use of Cookies: In accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, UMANA will only use cookies (data storage and retrieval devices) when the user has given prior consent. This will be done through the browser pop-up displayed each time the user accesses the website, and in accordance with the terms set out in UMANA’s Cookie Policy, which all users should be aware of.
